I think everyone whodoesn't want to use Facebook is just jealous of Mark Zuckerberg. He came up with an idea and became the youngest billionaire in history.
This principle people speak of sounds like nothing more than wanting to seem "cool" by not liking Facebook.

That's what i was thinking, I see no reason why not to have it, unless you want to seem cool. I never understood why people liked twitter better, isn't it essentially the same thing? Except people update more about their lives loads more.
This thread really devolved into an argument about people who like fb and those who don't. Whoops. Sorry world, please accept my apology. So much for a meaningful debate
Did facebook slaughter your family or something? or does your religion see it as some sort of drug?
Joking, however its abit over the top saying you'll NEVER use it as though its a horrific thing that will haunt your grandchildren.
For the record, I don't use Facebook because I like my career and I don't want possible employers seeing what I do in my free time, or what my friends do. And I also find its intrusion of privacy borderline offensive. We're not all 17 kid
Just make a facebook account then upload them to an image sharing site and link them on here, Instead of crying about how it should link directly to here. Maybe there are more people playing that have a facebook account linked to their xbox live profile than the amount of people with accounts on here.
do this its not that big of a deal its just a facebook account for pictures
edit: also everyone saying they refuse to is because of a principle what principle is this it has been asked but you wont answer it so all i can is assume is your a butt hurt kid who isnt allowed to have a fb

There are privacy settings on Facebook you know. You can make it so nobody at all can see your profile, only friends can see it, or everyone can see it. you can even block specific people if you feel like it.
How does Facebook intrude on privacy? If you put something up on Facebook and everyone sees it, that's your problem not Facebook's.

He meant that public authorities and other governing sectors can view anything in the such as long as they have jurisdiction, which most of the time they do. It is also Facebook's problem if they slip on security and get their site hacked ( which has been done) and have everyone's private material compromised. I do use Facebook, but only at the use of talking to friends. Not networking with strangers. I do see both sides as valid arguments, but I think the sides should stop fighting.
I agree and feel the same and no game will ever force me to make one.
Sorry but you're missing the point. Some of us refuse to EVER use fb on principle, yes it would be nice to use screengrabs but I'm hardly 'crying' about it. it is a worthy mention I feel. No need for you to overreact and no, I will never use it, no matter what.

This. I don't have a facebook, but it isn't because I hate the site, I think it's cool. It also isn't because I'm jealous of Zuckerberg, which is just a silly suggestion. I simply wouldn't use it enough to justify making one. All of the friends and family I talk to live close enough that I can talk to them in person and on the phone. I see no reason for people with facebooks and people without them to fight. It's stupid, unneccessary, and childish.

Heh, thanks. I don't really use this name anywhere else anymore, I just don't post all that often. I think I joined in 2010?
OnTopic: About the screenshot thing, it doesn't bother me, as I most likely wouldn't take any screenshots anyway.
I suppose I knew that this thread would go this direction. What Muzuh and Carbon said. Im sorry to anyone that is offended by my opinion of Facebook I just wanted to one if anyone else felt as I did, and if so, maybe there would be enough concerned people that something might be done about it. Thanks facebook proponents for making this about Facebook instead of minecraft
The only reason that you have to use facebook is because there is already a facebook interface on the xbox so its the only way to share photos. Maybe once other sites like twitter get integrated into the xbox, then you could share the photo through twitter. That's according to 4J.

I still don't get it. Authorities would have the ability to check anything. Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Tumblr, etc, etc. Also, all those other sites get hacked as well. I just don't see praising Twitter or other social networks over Facebook when they have most of the same downsides.
If you commit a crime, they should be allowed to intrude on your privacy if it's possible they can stop you or find you from something on your social network account.
but what if I make a nazi shrine dedicated to hitler? and what about the giant naked lady I made? I dont think facebook allows those kinds of screenshots.........

Sounds ridiculous to me. But whatever.
