Just wondering if when you give a bone to a wolf does it sometime not tame them? Wolves are rare on my world right now and I've gave about 3 bones to seperate wolves and haven't tamed a single one yet. Just wondering Thanks!
I've tamed a wolf with just one bone, but it's not guaranteed to work. Here's the wiki explanation:
"Each individual wolf can be tamed by feeding (right-clicking) it bones until a puff of hearts appears and the wolf sits down. Each bone has a 1 in 3 chance of taming the wolf. Once tamed, a wolf will not accept any more bones. It will also gain a red collar to indicate that it has been tamed. Note that the number of bones required is random - some wolves respond to a single bone while others may require up to 9 or more to tame."
