On the 360, can you make cannons that use water so they dont destroy themselves?
I dropped TnT in a pond and it didnt seem to destroy anything but my actual cannon test (with a 1 tnt shot and a 1 tnt charge, although designed for a larger charge), despite throwing the TnT down a hill, blew itself up.
However, it my also my first ever cannon test, as I am new to minecraft. I may have simply constructed it incorrectly.
^ Assuming i actually did something wrong and it wasnt my first test that was a fluke.
I have yet to find a video of a working cannon on the 360 version, although im sure if one isnt already out, one will be soon if its at all possible.
The charge was dropped into a rectangular 4x1 water trough 1 deep and filled with only source blocks. The shot was mounted at the end of this one block higher. The shot was ignited with a 2 and 1/3 delay compared to the charge, using repeaters to set the time. The time notation i use means 2 repeaters on full delay, and one on the lowest delay.
The charge detonated first and launched the shot outward down a hill, however it also obliderated the cannon.
As an aside: My own assumption is that if i built it wrong, it may be that i need deeper water. Or running water. I dont know because the available tutorials dont tend to say exactly what works, just what worked in there personal cannon for that update (which may well not apply on the 360).

This thread bores me.
