I've noticed that Minecraft for Xbox has an autosave feature that does not work. I understand that it might be frustrating for people to lose their stuff, but i find it's nice. I find it nice because if someone joins the server that i don't really know, or my friend says he's going to do something to the server, i instantly save, that way, if it gets griefed, i just Exit without saving, and it's fine.

If they do fix the autosave bug, then please make it something like Skyrim, where theres autosaves, but you can save manually, then when you go to load, you have a list of saves(atleast thats what it is on Skyrim for the PC, haven't played Xbox), but a system like that, so it won't autosave when a friend of a friend comes on and burns everything. I know you can go to Storage and backup on another system/USB, but that takes way too long and isn't very efficient or effective.

The autosave feature is only meant to save player data, not world data.

It's not a bug. That is the way the game was made. Autosave only tracks your stats, it doesn't save the world because it's not supposed to.

So it won't change in the future? Or atleast not with a bug fix.

They said the way the game is made it would be very annoying if the world autosaved every 5 minutes (as it would go into that little screen every time I'm assuming)

I hope they can eventually patch it to save in the background. There are too many bugs that have frozen my game unexpectedly.

Well, eventually, they'll patch the bugs, and you can save manually

So, if it tracks our stats, why in-game the leaderboards are like -frozen-....
We need to quit to the title menu to see the real leaderboards....
I hope they will fix that...
