So, as we all know there are many resources in the Minecraft franchise.
But I need to know what all you think. So tell me.
Which is most crucial to the game and for survival.
ALSO Please state why you think Iron tools are better for tools. My prediction was that all of you were going to vote for diamond, so i would like to know why you guys pick iron.
Now Updated with new Poll Question. What came first, the Dirt or Wood. It was a useless poll, didnt make sense and sorry if it wasted your time.
HAPPY MINECRAFTING
P.S If you think there is another debatable Subject then get my attention and ill put it up in the poll
For me I guess at this stage its iron as I’m trying to make an intricate rails system for fast and relatively safe travel. Next is Diamond. I’ve only needed to find a small patch of diamonds to make a diamond pick axe to build a portal, then never needed diamonds again. I guess it’s based on my current goal of game play at the moment.
You can survive forever with wood without coal, iron, gold, or diamonds. Wood can be used to build houses, make charcoal, torches, tools, swords, and farm.
You can survive in minecraft with 1 seed, 1 sapling, and 8 cobblestone at minimum.
Not only does wood have the most uses, but I'd like to see you get other blocks without using it.
Maybe if you got lucky with creeper explosions blasting ores off the wall without destroying them, but even then, good luck making anything besides armor with Iron and diamond.

Oh yeah! I forgot about the need for a crafting table to make a furnace!
So yeah, without wood, the only high-tier resource you could get is diamonds, and that's only if you made a torchless run into a cave all the way down to diamond level and got lucky with getting a creeper to blow up some diamond ore without killing you or destroying the diamond. And then from there all you could do is make armor without wood.
Wood wins hands down!
