I think they were going to go in that direction at one time, but then the repeaters came out and I haven't seen much mention of it since. What would you do with it? If you need red blocks then just dye some wool.

Then start getting rid of it lol.. make some kind of redstone system for later updates lol..it would help XD. I wish I mined enough to get that much redstone but I'm too busy sheltering my little town to get that much lol. I have roughly 10 stacks of it currently though. Going to start converting my wood doors to steel ones soon though. So far only one building has a perfectly working XOR circuit double lever door. Just wish I had the redstone earlier before the digging under properties started lol...makes it harder to set it up.
