OK, so in Minecraft, and any other game like it that involves lots of items and crap, I go all-out OCD and organize pretty hardcore. But whenever I have people play on my server (friends, that is), not all of them are nearly as neat and organized as I am, therefore ruining my system and making me have to re-organize. I also hate it whenever people don't ask if they can take some precious minerals and make armour out of them, like diamonds I worked very hard to get. Whenever you patch this game, please, I beg you guys, PLEASE, put in a special door that has SOME kind of SECURITY. Maybe not even a door, maybe you should just put in a simple security system that involves getting permission from the host to do certain things, like open up OTHER peoples' chests, use TNT (I had a "friend" come on my server and blow it into oblivion. Thankfully I saved beforehand), etc, etc. I would like to have this so that I can know that my town is safe. Now, I DO know there is an "Invite Only" thing there, but people don't message you if they can be invited, most of the time at least. Most people are either there at the start or they don't join, and I don't mind people coming in and building on my server, as long as I can approve and they stay in their boundaries. Please add some kind of higher-ish security into the game, because right now, I have to resort to having a shady secret room behind a painting in my house that someone could easily find by accident. Also, PLEASE add a mode where you can switch back and forth between Survival and Creative. For me, the duplicating glitch doesn't ruin the experience, it makes it much more enjoyable since I don't have to go insane and **** myself off trying to get enough gold and crap to make a huge minecart track around the town I built. So yeah, please listen to this thread. And all the players, please support this! Let them know what we want! I love Minecraft and all I want is a better game. Who's with me?

I love Jesus and metal... the two best things ever
Like I said later on in my huge paragraph I didn't break up correctly, I DO have a secret room behind a painting. But, it's kind of shady and someone could easily find it by accident. Or they could even see me in there and find their way in. I'm not sure, but it's not the best. Unless there's a way to turn off the name bar above your head... Which I don't think there is.

What I did is create a store.
It has double chests full of Obsidian, Diamond Blocks, Gold Blocks, Moss Stone, Lava Buckets, Water Buckets and much much more so obviously I had to hide all of that stuff.
Anyways, I made a gallery, I made a secret room behind a painting (which you have to jump to get through), then that showed a room, in that room is a hidden button that opens a door for a second and then that leads to the "store" (more accurately should be called a "Treasure Room"). So even if someone finds the area behind the painting they won't be able to get through the next area.
Also all the walls and floor for that area are Obsidian so no breaking through for anyone unless they want to spend a long time to get through something they don't know about.

Sounds extremely complicated lol But, if you add me and show me what I gotta do and stuff, I'd be happy to try it out!

Ya but if someone did find the room behind the painting chances are they are going to break down or around the door or place a button of their own next to it to get it. We need some sort of protection hiding it is all well and good. Sneaking doesn't make you disappear from a map either so it's only a matter of time before someone finds the stuff.

There are ways to fix this, but it's unfortunate the LWZ mod (It enables you to lock your chest so no one can take things from you) was not incorporated into the current version of Minecraft for Xbox360. When someone enters your game, save it. That way when they leave, if they take something, you can exit the game without saving and still have your items. You can also disable a feature which allows other players to not be able to find you on the map via start menu>>Help & Options>>Settings>>Visible On Map. Another option is to set the game to 'Invite Only' before you initiate it.
And if you love Creative Mode, the only option at the moment is to use the dupe glitch and set the game to Peaceful, for now at least.
Yes, people that you may trust to a degree, could still do a little griefing for the fun of it. I've had to keep a couple friends in check because I know they have those tendencies to cause havoc. It doesn't really mean they are terrible friends, but a game such as this should have some type of permissions and grief protection. That argument of "Just play with friends" is stupid because you are implying all "friends" are 100% trustworthy, which just about nobody is, friend or not.

There is an option to be showed on maps or not....

sneak so no one can see your name. Make your secret room better. Problem solved, you don't need a locked door
Secret room
Thats where I put all of my chests etc.

That's sneaky and very useful... Great tip!

Sure, my gamertag is RX Sean XI
I am going to be on pretty soon.
I hope 4j studio will fix the split-screen bug soon... Many of us bought minecraft for the split-screen...
