I was hoping someone can try and explain to me the general dynamics of how to use iron doors and have them open with a button on the outside and pressure plate on the insider.
You have a wall. You have a two high space in the wall where you place your iron door. Now on the outside of the wall, place a button on a block directly next to the iron door. That opens it from the outside. On the inside, on the ground directly in front of the Iron door, place a pressure plate.
