Why is it so hard to find dungeons/Mine Shafts on xbox. I've looked everywhere for one and still nothing. I've been looking for seeds & Jukebox disc's but have had no luck.
Is there a better way to find one then just digging to hope to find one?
To be honest, I haven't had this problem. If you just run around on the surface, probably 9 times out of 10, you're going to find some kind of dungeon/cavern.
well yea most the time i dont have a issue with finding them. I guess its just the seed im on. It has everything i could ask for above ground but when i mine i never find dungeons. I have only found 1.Thats like with Slimes, I've only found one on Pc that i tried to keep as a pet lol it despawned. It was only 1 Big one
Dungeons pre-1.8 are a lot harder to find. I've only found 3 after around 20 hours of exploring on my world. Ravines and mineshafts will make it much, MUCH easier once we get them thankfully, as you don't have to do as much strip mining to locate dungeons.

Caverns are easy to find connected to the surface, yes, but dungeons are rarely found on the surface.
I've only found two dungeons but I had to dig down as far as could go, and then went 12 cubes up from there and started digging in straight lines listening for monsters.
