Well, Minecraft Xbox 360 looks to be such an amazing game. I have never really played it and, although I recently downloaded the PC version I was struggling to find the time to hook up a multiplayer with my young son, so I never quite got round to it.
But the ease of which minecraft can now let us play split screen instantaneously on the xbox is fantastic, so job done!
When I was first thinking of downloading minecraft on the PC, I used to watch lots of videos on youtube, mainly things like the guys on Yogcast etc. They were always heading off to other worlds to have adventures. Some of these worlds (which other people had built) were amazing quality and had some really cool things to do.
So my question is - is it possible just now to go on similar types of adventures on the xbox? If so, how would one do it? Or if not, is it something that may be planned for future? Or does the xbox technology forbid it?
Of course it's cool to build our own very simple stuff in our own map, or visit one of my friends simple maps (we are all very new to this) but it would be very cool to go on some real adventures to amazing worlds together.
I am not sure if seeds are the same thing but, as far as I can tell, seeds are an algorithm which generate terrain, not an actual pre-built amazing world that someone else has created?
Apologies for the noob questions guys. I am sure it has been asked before but I tried to search a little and couldn't find anything. You'd be helping a dad and his 5 year old son with some basic pointers on this.
Cheers
