What im doing wrong, when I find gold, I cant seem to collect it when I mine it??? Atm im using a iron pick, is that the problem? I whack away at it untill it breaks up, then nothing is there to collect. Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong????
An iron pick should work.
So no gold ore shows up in your inventory? (it's hard to tell from iron).
You know you need to smelt it to get gold bars, right?
Other than a bug, I don't understand why you can't mine it, sorry. (I have no problem with gold, BTW).
1. Are you sure its gold?
2. Do you have the Gold Ore Block in your inventory (cause that is the way its supposed to be)?
3. Have you checked to see if the gold fell down somewhere or is glitched inside another block (i.e stone)?
Otherwise, it could very well be a bug. Refer to LostDose's post and see if you can answer those questions.
red ore is doing the same thing :(, Its said it was gold ore, but nothing is showing up in my inventory for either one. Man 40 hours of time just to start over. I have this awsome fort I made too
OMG, warning dont drink beer and play this game you will mess up badly. LOL, i was trying to mine this stuff with a stone pick, not a iron one. I feel really dumb right now, so to make sure things go the way they should I will no longer play this after ive been drinking LOL.
