The patch notes for Title Update 2 have been posted either yesterday or the day before. And if I'm correct, which I probably am not, it's just going through the part of the Microsoft certifcation, which can take anywhere between 2 and 3 weeks.
My guess is that there will be an update by the end of the month.
But as I said, I could be wrong.
they do need to rewrite code, but c++ code is alot like java code, so rewriting code won't take that long when you'r with
a team of coders. plus they don't need to think up all of the ideas.
You obviously know nothing about computers and their languages.

Based of what they said there only going up to 1.7 and adding a select 1.8 features, There probably won't be a creative mode and most of the newer stuff will never be seen on xbox unless they do further updates which will probably be next year plus.
Which is why a simple game in C++ would never have a thousand classes. Because to anyone who doesn't have some kind of boner for Java, that's some batshit lunacy right there.
Mostly true.
I've seen some C++ stuff with a stupid amount of classes. Some people go OOP crazy even when it doesn't make sense - there was also this PHP project I got called in for and they had nearly 300 classes for a scheduling app that was pretty much just a calendar......
Don't even get me started on the insanity people jam into SalesForce.

4J has said they will be going to 1.8.2 after they update to 1.7.3.
I think writing the game in Java was stupid to begin with.
Writing the game in Java was great. That's one of the reasons we have the ability to ship this thing around Mac, Linux and Windows (usually) without issue. It allowed faster development and less testing with less technical requirements.
Hey guys, I saw this video about the Minecraft Xbox 360 Adventure Update. It seems legit and my friends agree but I want to hear what you guys think. Here's the link.
I haven't done the duplication glitch because then there would be no point in playing. And wow some people on here make me giggle. I've personally been learning code lately and no code can really be copy and pasted to be a different code. Else there would be no need for two different versions if they are that close to being similar.
Please, I beg you, stop talking about the 1.8 release. I can hardly wait for the Bug Fix (clay) and the 1.7.3 update and knowing all the goodies in 1.8 is making me even more antsy.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
i'm not saying i know alot about it, i'm just saying that they're with a big team of experienced coders, and that even though the code converting is difficult, a feature that has already been invented shouldn't take that long
Mojang in general is not a big team of developers and it's nopt even them that have been working on the XBLA version of MC. 4J Studios are the ones responsible for the XBLA version and not only that, but the game isn't a direct port from the PC version. They wanted them to be similar, but not identical.

Relatively... they're pretty close. It's not like C++ compared to Ruby, or Java compared to Python.
I think C++ is easier than Java. But I learned C++ first.

It's gonna stay "boring" with the patch update as they are getting rid of the dup glitch which will make the game more limited and stale.
Herobrine exists because we let him exist.

You're saying that Minecraft without cheats is boring?? Get out.

Curse PremiumSo i am think first or second week of July
You do realise that in 3-4 months 1.8 will add creative mode right? Which is like 1000x better than dupping
