I had been working on my first killer house in Survival; a vast underground lair, connected to an abandoned mine. My daughter had been introducing me to MC, and helping me build this grand domain, complete with a very cool monster pit viewing platform. One night, as I was just beginning to attempt playing on a difficulty, my daughter went off to the bathroom, as I continued working on the dungeon/ house. Suddenly, and completely unexpectedly, a hissing spider burst into my view. I had not yet even learned which BUTTON I should use to defend myself, and without her there to help I was unceremoniously butchered into (as the great Alice Cooper once sang) HUMANARY STEW by this excessively irate arachnid.
My BEST death however, came as I was organizing & adding chests in the basement of my awesome obsidian-roofed hardware store: As I went about my work, I accidentally "placed" my boat into the wall behind a chest.... I then panicked a bit, and attempted to retrieve said vessel, and instead ENTERED said vessel, became AT ONE WITH COBBLESTONE AND BOAT and helplessly endured a full round that horrible clicking/ breaking cacophony of demise we all dread so much.
I was genuinely rattled by that one... it took me a few long moments to regroup & continue. I lost at least an hour or more of hard work as well...
Trying to fill in my map found a ravine. Thought I would explore it and tried to jump into the waterfall but the skeleton to the right of it decided he wanted me to fall to my death.
My first death was extremely pathetic. As I was an extreme noob at minecraft, I did not realize that you hold the button to punch trees. When I finally figured it out, it was nearly nighttime. It just so happens that the first thing I collect was a piece of cactus. I grabbed more and surrounded myself in it, not realizing it hurts you if you touch it. At this point, the first creeper I ever see in the game, spawns and starts walking toward me just as I run out of cacti. I stood next to the one block high cactus, planning to try to punch the creeper. Well, this was when I found out that it does not have to be directly beside you to blow up. It left me with around half a heart, and knocked me into a cacti. I got killed by the cacti.
my first time playing mine craft was on my friends world. I was just walking along looking for mobs to kill with my amazing wooden sword when i fell into a 1x50 hole. Needless to say it hurt a little.
The first time I died as of OWNING the game was me in the Nether, thinking, ''Man this World isn't fun. I'll just jump in the Lava.'' But then shortly I realized it was my first World and shouldn't have deleted it. But my first death as of my first ime PLAYING was at my friends' house, and I remember it being Fall Damage. The first time I EVER died in ANY Minecraft version, the first death I remember was me looking at an Enderman. I didn't even know if it WAS called an Enderman, before I played Minecraft I played a Minecraft game on Roblox and there was an Enderman morph, and I saw the Enderman remembering its name, and I got it right. Anyway, I didn't think looking at it would do anything because I thought that Endermen were Hostile.
After years of trying, my husband finally convinced me to give this game a shot. (Obviously, I was wrong in believing it was stupid and I'd hate it. :p) He had warned me about spiders, because I'm a legit arachnophobe, but failed to mention creepers, zombie and the lot. Not even five minutes into the game I noticed I was receiving damage, and could not for the life of me figure out why. That's I learned about skellies, and I still resent them all for it. :c I then proceeded to discovered lava by digging straight down immediately after respawning. My husband let me find death another like ten times before explaining the basics. ;w;
