So yeah. I'm new to minecraft (completely) and I have the xbox version. Before buying I watched hours and hours (literally) of video on it, So I basically knew what to do when I got the game. It's a lot of fun, But I've made 2 houses so far, I've obtained diamond in one world, and had gold armor. I feel like, there's really nothing else I want to do.. haha. If someone could give me some decent seeds, or maybe some cool ideas for future gaming, that would be awesome.(:

This game only goes as far as your imagination takes it. Try out seeds with epic land structures( Glacier, gargamel, 10110101), plan and create large builds, play with friends, become a redstone genius(better after 1.7) It is all up to you. If nothing else, wait until future updates arrive and give it another shot. Good luck and have fun.
maybe start a server with some friends, its more fun when you have more people in the world.

I've spent a ton of hours and I haven't run out of stuff to do...
I built a small house. Then a wheat farm.
Then I explored and mined a really deep dungeon which took a while.
Since then I've been building a nice big house, almost done with it.
Made an escape tunnel from my house with a mushroom farm.
Made a portal and got killed in the Nether.
Came back and glowstoned my house.
Now I want a fence to mobs away from my house.
Then I'll want dogs, which will require dog houses.
I'll probably get the itch to explore more caves.
Every time I finish one thing, there are 3 other things I want to be doing and not enough hours in the day. Like a previous poster said, work your imagination!
Venture in to the Nether.
Grow a farm consisting of wheat, sugarcane, cacti, mushrooms.
Make a rail road system.
Create a dock (fishing).
Inhabit a tree house.
Conceal yourself in a man cave.
Kill mobs that threaten your safety.
Tame wolves as loyal companions.
Bake a cake.
Construct diamond weapons and armors.
Prepare for further game updates, so you'll be ready.
