There seems to be more things to grab in the PC version (nether brick, potion ingredients). In this version, what should I look out for? Glowstone, soul sand, nether rack...anything else I should grab while I'm here?
glowstone is the only thing worth mentioning in my opinion, everything else is.... mmmm i guess waste full. But im all about more light though. More light, less sleep, more work type gal.
The Nether is very useful for killing mobs. A lot of brewing ingredients are mob drobs. Some of the drops are good for other things like gold nuggets to make gold ignots and a lot of other things.

Brewing ingredients, and special mob drops are not in the Xbox version yet.
The only thing there as far as blocks go, is Netherrack, Glowstone, and Soulsand. If you for some reason can't get gravel in the normal world, i'm sure you could find some there also. Same with mushrooms. You could also kill some pigmen I guess.
