I'm trying to create an underwater tunnel that connects my underground shelter to my floating base, but I can't seem to be able to remove the water that is within the tunnel itself.
I built the tunnel vertically from the lake bed and then it horizontally going under my structure, once under the structure it goes vertical again going straight up through the floor. The top of the tunnel is two blocks below the water and is a 3x4.
I have searched online and I saw people mentioned using sand to get rid of water. But I don't understand how to do that.
Sorry if this has been answered before and I just missed it.
Any constructive help would be great.
you have to Fill up the Tunnel as they are all source block think of it this way if you built a tunnel in the Real ocean and had the tunnels open would you expect the water to move out of the way? same thing here
