Making a full size, large castle. It's going to hopefully include a blacksmith, some farms, maybe a large cathedral, and an armory. It's going to take forever, but hopefully it will turn out epic.
I have made a huge train stations with glowstone lights, I am working on it to streach across the world to all 4 edges with my house in the center. Also a huge light house above my house on a floating mountain.
If anyone wants to gives me ideas with the following I would love that.
1. Light house plans. (want about 3 floors then the top.
2. How to make a light switch for the train station and my house. (bother use glowstone)
EDIT:
Also if anyone has the idea how i can sit in the mine-cart and them do something no move forward on powered tracks please tell me.
All this was done in 2days with a house being built the day before.
You won't move forward? Is there an object in the way? Even arrows can stop a minecraft from going forward. If thats not it its probably just not powered.

I have a set amount of diamonds in my world that the admins of my world can use. Spread around. Everyone starts out with 5 diamonds. Getting jobs and doing work for the community in the world will pay you in diamonds. Lumberjack, constructiuon, flatten parts of the world will all be payable jobs. Use the money to buy resources and a house of your own.
Thats ridiculous to use diamonds as the primary source of an economic system. It kills the value of them, especially if you duped for them (which you did) theres no point in a system like that. Talk about inflation, hell you didn't want the great depression, but you just made something much more worse than that. The irony in your choices is overflowing.

I'm also curious as the whether or not the host/dictator provides diamond tools or has the 'employees' mining for resources with iron and stone picks and such.

I get that, I really do. But duping diamonds and then 'paying' someone else to clear trees, mine, or flatten land just seems...I don't know. Off. If it works for you and you've got people who legitimately enjoy the experience you're providing, awesome. It just wouldn't be for me I guess.
Have another idea of what would be more efficient? I mean online servers on the computer are the same exact way. They just give people a starting balance and the people that run the server are in control of all currency. I thought it was the most efficent way to start a currency system on a console version of MC.

I fixed it. I had to remove all the rails and replace them and it worked.
I got it working.
