Op seems to forget minecraft x360 edition sold over 400,000 copies within the first 24 hours. More than 1,000,000 copies within the first week. Now it takes money to update games. A good amount of it. Clearly they have made alot of money and will be able to update the game.
If not , be happy that we even have the port in the first place. Its a fantastic game.
Just because a game does well does NOT mean that it will get regularly updated.
MW2 is a prime example of this. it was a record-breaker in terms of sales, yet many game-breaking bugs were left unattended for over a year. There are still some un-addressed bugs, inb4: yes I do realize that it has passed its life cycle.
I would be content with the game staying the way it currently is, if future updates become a paid DLC, i'll be skipping them. (though I don't believe this will happen)
I always have the PC version waiting for me with many updates to come.
In no way am I saying that 4J/Mojang will abandon this title (simple fact is, we don't know, though I believe that we will see at very minimum, semi-regular updates). What I am saying however, is don't base updates on sales numbers.
