We are currently looking into the crash happening when players are saving a level.
If any of you have had this issue could you provide some of the following issue
Was a Seed used? :
Do you have Cloud Saving enabled? :
How long was the world played for prior to saving? (If known). :
Xbox Model (Core, Arcade, Slim etc...)

It really doesn't seem to matter if I use a seed or not. Like SimonKalevra, I also save before I quit, to prevent it from freezing while saving, but even then, sometimes when I exit it crashes.

He's a slacker jack and he's okay, he games all night and he sleeps all day.
When you attempt to load the save that crashed while using Exit and Save does it load or is it corrupt?.
If it has managed to load is everything as it should be (From the last manual save or load)?.

I'm having the exit & save crash bug too, if I save the world with exit & save, it freezes my xbox. If I go back to the game again, it will put me on the previous save, instead of the new save.

Well, if I use exit and save in 1 world, all of the worlds don't go to a previous save. Only the world I use will revert. But if you mean if I exit and save in all my worlds, then yes.
I've updated the original information to include the model of your xbox (Core, Arcade, Slim etc...)
Don't worry Meatboy it should be kept fairly near the top anyway as ill be asking a lot of questions

I have run into the bug also. I have had it happen on different seeds and a few random seeds. Doesn't occur every time either. I gotten into the habit of saving manually and then exit without saving. Even then sometimes on exiting the game will freeze when trying to return to the Xbox screen.
FYI good job on trying to fix the known issues! Not gonna be losing any me over a few bugs! But, definitely looking for a texture pack, these standard textures make my eyes hurt. Lol

The one time I tried to Save and Quit the game, when I went back, the file was corrupted, though thankfully it was just a tutorial world. Any questions you have, I will be eager to answer them! ... in the morning, I'm quite tired now.
I have an newer xbox core system (the Final Fantasy 13 edition with 250 gb hd). I bought the game yesterday and played for about 3 hours just fine. I exited the game to get my commendation pack from Mass Effect 3. I returned to playing Minecraft for about 2 hours (what can I say other than I love the game and had the time) and when I exited the game my xbox froze. It wasn't really a big deal to me as I've never used save and exit. I simply save and then exit without saving. So I didn't lose anything. I thought it was strange that the game froze on exiting though.
I am saving to my HDD and not on Cloud.
I don't know what a Seed is. If you're talking about planting seeds in the game - I didn't.
Was a Seed used? : Yes, but I can't recall the exact seed at the moment.
Do you have Cloud Saving enabled? : No, it's saving to my 360's HDD.
How long was the world played for prior to saving?: A few hours, though I had just previously saved about 10 minutes prior.
Xbox Model: Elite, the Lego Batman/Pure bundle that I bought during the holiday season in 2009.
I chose save and quit, which seems to be a common issue. When I started the world up again, the game had saved when I exited, it had just caused the entire Xbox 360 to freeze(had to pull the plug as the guide button, and the power button on the console were not responding).
From what I've seen, it only happens when you use the Exit And Save option. Saving the game in the pause menu seems to be fine. Although, I could just be getting lucky.

-Crashes almost always when "Save and exit" but only sometimes when just "Saving" & continuing... (at the 'finalizing'...) maybe 80% happens with S&E but 20% with just 'Save'.
-No seed, let it randomly generate.
-Saved to my hard drive, but I did make a backup to Cloud 10m after playing the map.
-I try saving at 30 minute intervals. Sometimes it'll freeze, others it wont. (total playtime in map about 30h?)
-Slim (Gears of War special edition console)

If its a MW2 style then it SHOULD be an Elite I'd imagine. Could be wrong though. It shouldn't be a slim.

Naw, even when I "save" it'll freeze at times. Not nearly as much as "save and exit" but still 20% of the time or so.
