It's only been a week, and I've already used up an entire world. I mined all through it, explored all the surface caverns, built houses and other buildings in all the good spots, made transportation mechanisms between them, etc, all by myself. Nothing was left to do.
The worlds are way too small. What am I supposed to do now? It's just so disheartening to have to build my house all over again, and to have to craft chests for all the materials all over again... Ugh.
This is obviously a problem. On the PC, you can just infinitely expand your world, never having to erase all the work you put into the game. On my Xbox, every week, I'll have to just erase everything I did and start a completely new world. This ruins the game for me.
My point of that particular quote is that if I had been playing with friends 100% of the time, rather than the 30% of the time I was playing with them, then I would have used up my world so much faster.
Used up your... entire world? One does not simply use up their entire world. There's something you're not telling us
I don't get what you're saying. I have tons of houses. From one house, you can always see another one. I have farms. I've explored all the caves. Made boat systems. Made minecart systems. Made walls around some of my houses. Etc
There was nothing else for me to do. I had already made houses on all the plateaus, islands, mountaintops, and cliffs. I had already explored all the caverns.
The worlds aren't that big, you guys. I can walk across mine in like 60 seconds. I can certainly mine across it quickly too.

Maybe. But that's not the point. Your trying to tell us that you've used up "an entire world". I find this simply not true. I bet you there is a tonne of resources you are yet to find, areas that can be used for building, & places left to discover.
Why not start building underground? Or in the sky?

I've already littered the land with buildings. You're saying that while PC players get to expand and actually build things with a purpose, I should be happy having to build things underground or in the sky, because I ran out of space because I ALREADY HAVE TOO MANY BUILDINGS IN MY SMALL WORLD?

Pictures? I have to agree with the responses in this thread. I find it hard to believe you've gotten every resource. If you are just littering the land with houses or buildings then have you put in a unifired road? What about a bridge to connect islandsd
The information know that the map would not be infinite has been known for a while now. Xbox can not handle the infinite worlds because microsoft limits 4j to a certain save game file size. If you are that unhappy play on the pc.
Start some big projects. Make a huge underground city, make a huge floating city, go on a terraforming rampage and change the layout of the land into a beautiful area and build some amazing structure around it, do some pixel art, start working on some redstone projects(since you've apparently went through every cave you should have plenty of it), ect.
There's still plenty of things to do. If your playstyle is constantly building new houses and expanding the world then you shouldn't have bought it for the 360. If you're open to new ways to play then there are thousands of projects you could start..

I'm usually not trying to be rude. So if a post comes across that way then sorry :]
There is no way. Do you not have friends?
I play minecraft ALOT, when I say that i mean 6 hours or more a day.
I haven't even scratched the surface of my world.
Also there is multiplayer. You could get friends and play with them on a separate world its fun.... The way you make it sound, it seems as though you didn't even have fun playing minecraft.
Find it hard to believe you managed to leave no stone un-turned and have found all resources and even managed to litter the world with houses as far as the eye can see. Until I see pictures i'm calling ********. And yes, you can upload pictures at the press of a button (Y).
"It's only been a week, and I've already used up an entire world. I mined all through it...."
Impossible to "mine all through it" in a week. This is BS.
I've figured it up.
There's 64 million blocks under the surface in the world. Even if you mined 24/7, 2 blocks per second, it would take you 370 days of constant digging to hollow out the inside and find all the ores. No way you and your friends did this in a week.
My guess is you just threw some junk up to see if you could cover the world. There's no way you've built quality, "epic" houses, a planned city, etc.
The world isn't small, you're not thinking big.
Go back and do it right.

Troll post is troll post. Anyone whos can do simple math can tell you haven't mined the whole earth, and used up all resources. Call me back in a month and I'll spend more than 30 seconds entertaining your foolishness.
1.) I'd try and go outside maybe a bit?
2.) I've made 5 worlds and i'm not complaining, it's fun. so stupid to stay on one.
3.) Go ahead and play on PC then.
What you're trying to say here is that within a week you mined through millions of blocks in a 1000x1000x128 area... You sir are full of **** lol. EVEN IF you didnt sleep for that ENTIRE week, You would maaaybe have covered 25% of the world, Maybe.

I beg to differ?
