So in the tutorial the developers stacked fence posts to make what looks like beams what I don't understand is why it won't let you in the normal game or it's just difficult but I think it's dumb you can't stack even in minecraft p.e you can and no gates kinda a downer

What? Use punctuation.

You can in 1.7.3 (next update)

But I think it's a slap in the face to put something on a tutorial you can't do.

Getting you excited for whats to come

Step 1: Fix your grammar.
Step 2: Place a block of dirt.
Step 2 Again: Place another one if you need to.
Step 3: Place a fence post on the dirt.
Step 4: Remove the dirt under the fence post.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as needed.
Step 6: ???
Step 7: Profit.

Beat me to it good way of explaining it.

And you can put a half block ontop of a single fence for a table, doesn't look as good as a pressure plate but that will be down the road.

Yes you can stack fences, you have to be creative.. place blocks down first, put fence on top of block, break the block below the fence, rinse, repeat

Lol, I kind of figured that out when minecraft first came to xbox

I Stack. Block under wood Fence, Remove Block put in Fence and done.

I'm 90% sure you can place fences ontop of fences in P.E... But that's not the point, just don't be lazy my kind friend!!
