My friends and I have been working on the same map for quiet some time now, and we really enjoy the seed we have. It contains all biomes, and we are really satisfied with what we have built on it. My only worry is that we have explored the entire map, and have it all drawn out on out player owned maps and what not. My question is, where is the room for a new biome, such as the jungle, to spawn when it comes time for the updates? Any known information about this topic, please post below. Thank you.

The logistics of retroactively applying landscape changes to a map in progress and preserving your changes and construction is pretty daunting. I bet it's a pretty safe assumption you'll have to generate a new map when those updates come around.

I hope they expand the map a little bit to add room for new biomes.

I think there should be a world of 4 maps and in each map there was a different biome.
