Lots of random seeds will generate relatively flat areas, just keep generating worlds and you'll get one sooner or later. Personally I don't like flat maps so I don't know any seeds.

I usually use flatgrass, it offers a good sized plane without trees, and about 3 mines nearby, I'm currently using this seed to make a huge clan Manor (Already used 35+ Stacks of Wood Logs just on the first floor)
I was looking for a flat land seed too, then I used my gamertag as the seed.
I spawned in a huge desert to the NW. There is a HUGE flat are in the northern section on the east side.
NOTE: I just found out the seed a few days ago, so I don't know where any good mines are. I have found tons of coal in mines so far. I do know that there is a plains, forest, and desert biome so far. There is a small ocean southeast of the plains.
Notch, Its really flat also Under where u spawn go to the middle ull see a really flat land go down there and make a huge room from bedrock to layer 3-6 make surei ts 3 high light it up and slime will spawn cus its a slime chunk
I found one as i was looking for a good map to build on and i found one and looked up the seed, here you go and others that want it 4790521074139807573. Trust me, its worth a look!

You spawn around the plains and the whole world is nothing but plains and desert, I believe, there are some caves you may fall into, other than that, it is very flat. I love flat seeds, I can see mobs easier.

Need something that has a flat spawn area or at least nearby but I don't want the whole map to be completely flat.

Plus, we can use Superflat now..
