ive been playing the 360 version alot latley and i think theres to much iron and gold...dont get me wrong i love having iron and gold but theres no challenge anymore idk if im the only one who thinks this but i miss the challenge the PC version offerd?
Despite my stacks of iron, coal, redstone, lapis (and only 1 stack of diamond), i have only found around 35 ingots of gold. And parts of my mine go through my entire map. You just got lucky in your seed is all.
Like everyone is saying, it depends on your world. I am not finding too much iron, gold or diamond(only three blocks of diamond ore thus far) however I could blindly pick any direction in my mine and run into redstone within a few blocks. It all depends on the world generation, yours seems to have generated a lot of iron and gold ore, however that does not necessarily mean any other worlds you make are going to have a similar abundance.
I've never heard of anyone complaining about an abundance of ore before. If I was that lucky, I'd be jumping in the air and clicking my heels together.

in the pc it wasent this easy to find gold or iron ore and ive seen many post about other peopple thinking theres to much iron/gold

Iron-50%
Gold-35%
Coal-65%
Diamond-25%
Redstone-60%
How many ores I find on PC:
Iron-75%
Gold-20%
Coal-85%
Diamond-10%
Redstone-45%
It seems it is harder to find gold in my PC world.
