I purchased Minecraft for the Xbox 360 on its release date and have enjoyed it since. All this fun suddenly came to an end, when my first world stopped working and froze at start-up. All that hard work, gone. I didn't let that stop me, though. I then created a new world determined to make it even better than my first. All things were going great until this world, too, stopped working and freezes during the loading screen. This just aggravates me. $20 for a game that doesn't even work correctly. Anyone know how to fix this problem? All help is appreciated.
Try backing up your save files to a USB device daily just incase it happens again. I haven't had any issues with save files becoming corrupted(I assume that's what's happening).

I did have the second world backed up on a USB, but It's still a shame that this is happening.
Is it freezing at the "initializing server" screen? If so, then the same thing happened to me with my first world. Found no fix so I had to toss the world in the bin. Even my back-up save wouldn't run.

Bummer. Like i said, i found no fix. You might want to start a new world in the mean time & save the bugged world for when the update comes out. It could include something to fix this problem.
I know your thinking, "I don't want to have to start a new world! Fcuk that!". I thought the same thing after losing 8 hours of work & resources. Turned it it was for the better. New world is fcuking amazing. In a way, I'm glad my first world kept freezing.
