One word: Bukkits
I almost yell: "screw you 4j studios" when trying to place a single water bukkit near lava, but now it's fix, I made a water dam near the sea and lead the water to a lava lake.
"Bucket" Let's not confuse them with the PC plugin.

id say still in 1.6. i play couch co-op all the time offline coz my net sucks so lag doesn't really effect me. the bucket glitch s really annoying too.
i have a lil fix for worlds too small and finite resources. would there be any way that a feature could be added that let you put a different portal in (like a diamond or gold block portal) that would take you to a constantly regenerating world. like you build one, go through, do work, come back, and the next time you go through it would be different. if the nether would be added to the 2nd world it would give a chance to get more glowstone in the main world. also it would givea better chance of finding clay if not found in your world seed. if done right, we can still have the same world size and keep the view distance without putting undue strain on the console.
There is lag if you play someone from the NA region. They have to fix that and It's still in 1.6 its been like a month they should update it
The game has been out for 7 days.
Lag is to be expected when playing over an exceptionally large distance.

the only thing that annoys me at the moment is after screenshots are taken, i get lag and then kicked back to the main menu.
i always save now before screenshotting, but still slightly annoying
I'll have a look into that and see if I can reproduce it.

When mobs are too close to walls, they're invincible.
I would agree with this being a problem. When I can hit the mob and see that I hit the mob and my weapon receives damage but the mob never dies.
Also, if I start drowning there is no way to surface. Every time I lose a heart I sink so even if I am right below the surface and I have full health I will still die.
While I'm at it the leader boards lock up when switching filters and I have the "On a Rail" achievement but my stats still show zero kilometers in carts and other inaccurate stats.
I had the same problem. Facebook snapshot playing an offline game would give me an error screen after a brief period, then boot me to startup screen. I switched to online games and have not had the issue again.
It doesn't need infinite worlds and I doubt the 360 could handle it anyway, but I do think my biggest issue is that I can walk across a world in just a few minutes. Even 2000 x 2000 would be drastically better, and really 4000 x 4000 would effectively satisfy any needs I might ever have. >0.1% of gamers would ever really need a world bigger than that.
The creeper spawn seems incredibly higher than all of the other mobs. Especially compared to the PC versions. More often than not in caves I'll come across 2 times more creepers than Skeletons and Zombies combined. There were honestly never this many creepers in 1.6.6 on the PC version.
Yeah, the Creeper spawn rate is pretty freaking crazy I've got to say, even on Easy.
no infinite worlds. I mean, i understand how it cant handle infinite, but come on, a freaking XBOX should be able to handle more than 1000 blocks. maybe in the future somewhere along the lines of 10000
Infinite worlds aren't necessary, but it would be nice to have larger ones. like at least 2k x 2k. Or, for map's sake, 4k x 4k. So this and game stability i guess are what get me the most.
The only thing that is killing the game for me is the bed glitch. I don't want to wait through the night ever darn time. Its really starting to annoy the crap out of me.

Still a credit to your ruse, what a beautiful excuse, To never open up your eyes and see the things you lose,
Just climb the beanstalk when you die and meet the giant in the sky.
i think that the infinite world size should not be a problem i mean castle minner z had a infininte world and higher quality graphics aswell so minecraft being the better game should have no problem with it
i also think that if they somehow got the best mods and made them at least availabe as DLC then if you wanted mods then you could get mods at a cost to you plus it would be a great way to get more money and to add something to the DLC option at the home page. if mods could be turned on and off at the main menu like texture packs on the pc version then it could add so much more to the game and atract more people to play so its a good idea to add at least the good mods like the aither, twilight forrest, yogbox, industrialcraft and buildcraft
or just the big mods that are so popular that add a lot to the game not like mods for cheating like to many items and the like
Not much content (in context of what minecraft is)
even the pc version lacks content though.. so yeah
still a lot of fun like the pc version, but like it
I just wish there was much more to do
it would definitely make the hundreds of hours playing it that much more fun
Still in 1.6.6 would be my biggest problem with it. I understand that it takes time to convert it over to xbox format, but why wasn't the 1.0 official release of Minecraft used? 1.6.6 doesn't feel like a complete game.
And what is up with all the creepers? On Easy, it is not uncommon to have 2-4 creepers spawn together and then proceed to make swiss cheese out of the landscape! (and me!)
The only thing that is killing the game for me is the bed glitch. I don't want to wait through the night ever darn time. Its really starting to annoy the crap out of me.
Just move it one block away from the wall, or put it against an interior wall. Or double the thickness of the outside wall it sits against.
Still in 1.6. The nostalgia for playing an older version is quickly fading for me, and I find myself constantly wishing for items and features in later updates. That 1.7 update can't come soon enough.
Lack of large (or infinite maps). I've explored every inch of my world and most of it's cave systems, and I really don't want to start a new map and loose all my progress just to explore more.

This. It basically sums up the "World too small" and the "Still in 1.6" choices into one.
But yeah, the world is way too small.
