Switch to Midecraft if i've been playing Totall Miner?? Seems to me these game are pretty much the same.
Whats the pros and cons of each?? I guess I could just research this myself, but I wanted feedback from people that might have played them both.
I want to say this to, they just made 20 million dollars in 1 week from xbox players buying this game. They dam better update this game quickly to the current pc version. I see from reading alot of posts the game is like a year behide the pc, thats a freaking shame.
God yes, They only reason to play those indie MC rip offs is so you dont die of boredom while you wait for MC to come to the Xbox.
Its out now.
Do what I did, Delete Total Miner and Fortress Craft or any of those other cheap rip offs and buy a game with double the content in just its beta stage.
And the fact that the guy who makes FortressCraft is a total jerk, and not a nice person.
And that none of the clones are even close to the features of Minecraft.
Source: Played ManicDigger, FortressCraft, TotalMiner, Minecraft PC, Minecraft PE, Minecraft 360E, SurvivalCraft, Eden and probably more! The only reason FortressCraft did so well is because it 'was' the only clone. Notice how all the top indie games are all clones? That should soon change..
Eden is like a Creative mode of Minecraft, it's ok.
Haha, I have to admit I used to use it for a laugh.
Thats true, I have to say I have a lot more respect for the maker of Fortress Craft, unlike TM he tried to go his own way with the concept of a block based world focusing heavily of fast paced combat and modern weapons.
Are we thinking of the same game?
You may be thinking of Fortress Wars
Fortress Craft has no combat.
Total Miner was literally then only thing I played on my Xbox last year. It's a fantastic game and I don't think it should be compared to Minecraft simply because of the diversity between each game.
Pros of Total Miner
- 2000 Blocks Deep
- Varying decorative blocks
- Teleportation
- A lot more difficult than Minecraft (IMO)
- You can play splitscreen without HDMI and see everything just fine
- If a player saves a world hosted by a different person they can play that world Single Player
- Only 240 Microsoft Points (Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's the price.)
- Shop System
Pros of Minecraft
- Multiple mob types
- Redstone
- Nether
- Updated on a weekly basis AKA Snapshots
- Larger map sizes (Above ground)
- Can have 20 player Multiplayer
- Acheivements
- Farming

Did you know none of the games that are "MC ripoffs" actually aren't. MC was made from another game called infinty miner or something along those lines (Correct me if I'm wrong). But don't get me wrong MC is awesome game, and I love it!

I'm confused. How does the fact that Minecraft borrowed heavily from Infiniminer make the XBL Indie games that heavily borrowed, or just blatantly used things, from Minecraft any less of Minecraft rip offs?

I'm sure Total Miner has its good things about it. But if I was gonna play either of them I'd go with Minecraft. Just because its Minecraft.

He also got like $2k from some of his fans after his Xbox got banned so he could buy a new one.
Im not sure why but that angers me.
in total miner you dont play as your avatar. At least in Total Miner: Forge
No Problem!
I LOVE BEING THE PRINCESS BTW
Half the time I spawn with a backwards limb or two.
It looks like MC with a texture pack.
A poorly made one at that.
I would go with Minecraft
