I feel that as of now, without the updates, I would give it around an 7.
The integration of the game meshed really well with the controls and just the feel of the console, once I got used to it.
There are some bugs and stuff, especially with lag in the multiplayer, for me at least.
But overall, I have a good time with the game and I think that the game deserves a high rating. (Opinion, of course.)
With the updates and bug fixes, I can only imagine the game getting better.
What do you guys think?
Also as a side note: I'm not that experienced with the PC version because I haven't played much of it.
I would give it a solid 8/10. I haven't run into many glitches, and the ones that I have are minor. It's more fun than the PC version for the fact that I can relax and play at the same time whilst playing with friends. But it will definitely be a 9-10/10 when it is up to par with the PC version.
To be honest I enjoy this simple Minecraft version, usually I would mod my file on the PC. But lately I've enjoyed playing online with my friends. I haven't experienced any lag spikes or xbox crashes during game play, or even had trouble finding any type of animal. Only thing I've come across is the bucket glitch but ended up getting over it. Along with the whole xbox freezing when leaving the map. But I give the game a good 9/10 and hope to see the 1.7.3 update soon

Its an absolutely brilliant game but the lack of pet llama's angers me greatly so my score is 1/10...
Ok, cookies are pretty cool, 9.5/10
9.5 would be to high to be honest with you, i give the game a solid 8/10 because well.. delivers what promised which is Minecraft, but the amount of downsides versus the pc version cannot be denied.
A lot of players are in love with it either because it's their first approach to the game, cant play on PC, or due to nostalgia for old sounds, beta seeds, no hunger bar and so on.
Will ever be on par with the PC version? i trully hope so.
Alright first time player here so a 9/10 from me. I give my score because this type of game is something I have been wanting on a current gen console for some time. I enjoy games that place gameplay before graphics, acting, etc. This game is simple yet so pleasing. The enemies obviously are stronger than the charecter which gives the game a challenge that is greater than any retail game I have in my collection. There are no special powers, changing difficulty on the fly, or need for money. The games challenge is all up to the user and their imagination. My only wishes and I think others have said are in progress, are different game modes and more items. Map size is fine with me because after trying to traverse Skyrim and Oblivion with out fast travel I prefer smaller maps but thats me.
Based on my gameplay enjoyment 9/10, mainly because I have been super lucky and have encountered hardly any of the reported bugs. The most work I've lost over a freeze was about 2 minutes worth. Lucky me
Tiny worlds, legitimately a beta version, and entirely missing a major advertised feature for SD players.
I like what's been done with crafting, controls, and the UI but, as an alpha purchaser, it's just missing far too much even when directly compared to beta 1.6.6 and we really have no solid word on when the updates are coming. Also, 4J has been PR-speak dodging questions about world size.
8/10. Great game, and despite the fact you can only join friends games the multiplayer is way better than PC version. I feel like there is more of a sense of community with the xbox because its smaller MP groups. A MP server browser would make it so much better.
I would give it a 6/10, because it's an unfiinished game. Everyone is praising the game for the fact that you can do whatever you want on it, but the fact is, you can't do whatever you want. The goal of the game is to build, mine, and survive. After you get decent armor and weapons the game practically loses all value, because there is nothing to work for. Go build your huge castle to prevent the same cacti, skeletons, and zombies from attacking knowing there are no challenges awaiting. Play for 8 hours and then put it away, until the studio finishes the game.

Delete it then, because it will never be anything more than what it is now for you, regardless of how many updates they do. You either "get it" or you don't.
I'd give this version a 7/10. While I appreciate the fact that you can re-visit some of the old 1.6.6 worlds you can't generate on the PC version any more (without mods), there are too many frustrating aspects to overlook.
The world size is too small.
Porkchops and bread don't stack.
The annoying "bed against an outside wall causes mobs to wake you up" bug should have been fixed before release.
The lighting engine is horrendous, it's slow to update, and the pitch black block faces drive me nuts.
Even on a 60" TV, the gravel, iron ore, gold ore, and cobblestone blocks are indistinguishable from one another visually, you have to hover over them to find out what is what. (C'mon 4J, how about a GUI size option? I'm old. Relatively speaking. )
I've only scratched the surface of all the things that annoy me. I didn't even mention the fact that I don't particularly like the near uselessness of the nether in this old version.
I did have a blast playing with a friend though, it was so simple to join him in his world...it should be that easy on the PC. I like the crafting interface also, it also should at least be an option on the PC.
i have the pc and xbox version and... for playing alone the pc wins.. but i have more friends on xbox, im a console gamer soo i prefer the xbox version, we dont have pistons and some fancy stuff... whatever XD i never use that things on pc
8.5 / 10
to be happy i need my skin from MC pc, or an editor, or more skins [selectable if is posible]
There was another thread on rating the Xbox 360 version, which seems to have been deleted. I gave the Xbox version a 2 out of 5 and a long explanation for my rating, which has to do with mostly bugs and poor development management. I'm hopeful however that they will fix these issues at which time I'll revisit my rating.

5/10; still better than what I would give the PC version.

Now had it been 800 points...
It could have made the next digit if it had a server browser
this game may grow to be something bigger than Minecraft PC.
