So for the past few days I've been digging out and working on this pressure plate system which triggers a trap, the area is 12x16. Now when I place a bunch of pressure plates,
sometimes 1 or more of the pressure plates stay pressed down. Is this a bug? Or is there something I am missing?
What are they wired up to, & how close are they to each other?
They are side by side filling up every square in the 12x16 area. Underneath the, is red stone, also filling up the 12x16 area, besides the pathway that has no red stone under it.
Do you wire each side up separately or into one switch/button?
i just do the standard pressure plate infront of each door
i dont have a problem if its one door, but 2 doors and the right side switch is always pressed, unless i step on it then the door hits me in the face

It was only recently that double doors work how they should, in the betas you had to invert the left side using a switch.
Any development on this issue? I'm having the same problem. I wired up 12 stone pressure plates to activate rapid firing arrow dispensers in a hallway. Far too often at least one of the pressure plates will get stuck in the down position and the dispensers will continue firing. This happened with another similar design as well. I'm thinking it's a bug with the pressure plates rather than the wiring, but I'm still pretty new to redstone. Has anyone else had better luck?
The pressure plates staying down is a glitch. You're not doing anything wrong. Trust me, I've done the same thing you're doing on the PC version, and it works just fine
