Is your game freezing upon the loading screen when you try to load a save game?
Well this might help for you because it DID help for me.
First, start up your Minecraft Game.
Second, play the tutorial, play the tutorial for about 5 minutes.
Third, now exit the tutorial and load up your save game.
If it didn't work go to your system settings and clear cache and reload your game, then redo steps 1-3 again.
Hope this helped you people that has corrupted saves.
HINT: Try to save your game manually every 5-10 minutes or while/after you finished a big project. This game is really laggy so make saving a priority, and if your playing your world and your destroying blocks but the blocks you destroyed respawns DO NOT save it will corrupt your game, and until next update do not exit and save game sometimes it will freeze your screen and won't save your game so select save game first and then exit without saving. Finally the saving icon on the upper-right hand corner doesn't mean it's saving your game but it's saving your stats such as leaderboards so keep that in mind so you don't make a mistake that you thought it auto-saved your world.
I'll try to keep you guys updated on what glitches to watch for in this game.
Just clear your cache (aka, reset your updates for mcxbla back to 1.66) You can look up a tutorial on youtube. Then when mcxbla loads, update the game. There you go.

If you go into your frozen world with Online Game unchecked it should work, did for me. And what I found out was in the spawn area, there was 80 or so farm animals. and I ended up killed all of them with my diamond sword. Then switched it back to online and got it to work. Haven't tried snyders way though, but I'll keep that in mind next time it happens.
If the weird hokum pokum remedies posted by SnDk_Dayzer, SnyderGuy, or Xuloz worked for you, that means you didn't have a corrupted save to begin with. A corrupted gamesave file simply won't work, and it will never work. There seems to be some other kind of bug where worlds will just fail to load sometimes, I don't have a clue why, but it happens. One thing is for certain though, you can't "un-corrupt" a file by doing random things that have nothing to do with the gamesave itself.

I'm not going to lie, when I first read cowboy's post I didn't know how to respond to it. And my remedie worked for me so the more help that goes out to the frozen world guy's the better. My world freezes people's xbox's A LOT and it was because there is always so many farm animals at the spawn. In my flat world. Once they have been to the world once, they can always join without freezing.
