I know that they limited multiplayer to friends to combat griefing but sometimes my friends get lazy and take a tool or two of mine or materials lol, I'd be more that happy to give it to them I just dont like to be stolen from.
Is there any way to protect my chests in multiplayer?
Also, when they first joined my world, it asked for "approval" from me apparently but I didnt get any messages or anything and now they can take whatever whenever.
Ive had this problem with my real life friend,(******* is always bumming money off me i should of known he'd act the same in Minecraft lmao) What ive done now, is encase my chest in obsidian since they wont spawn in with a diamond or iron pickax(you can break it with Iron it takes like 4min in PC version not sure if it works in xbox) its not the greatest, but its better than nothing I suppose
Find a place that's far away from your house not to be suspected, but close enough that you can find it again. If you have to, you can leave a sign of some sort nearby to help you find it. Once you find the right spot dig a hole in the ground and bury your chest. Go and dig it back up when your friends leave.

Theres no "Official" way?
That would work, but they could just break two blocks next to the door and get in lol
