Is there anyway to collect pumpkin seeds and farm them in this version? I know you can on the pc version by sticking the pumpkin in the crafting box but you can't seem to do that on the 360 version is there any other way that anyone knows about??
Pumpkin seeds were not added until 1.8. Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is not 1.8
When you ask a question on this forum, you should probabl direct the question at those who have played Minecraft for a somewhat long time. We usually know more than most of the people on here. Not tryin to sound like a ****, but it's just true. 75% of the people on here have only played the Xbox version.
Is there any way at all to gain more pumpkins? I know seeds wont be here for a long time but do pumkins spawn naturally in groups?
Sadly no, it can't be spawned naturally when you're in your seed for 5 days, only time pumpkins spawn naturally is when you enter the seed, but if 4J Studios puts more land or space like PC does, there's more but for right now, no but don't worry when 1.8 comes out you will be able to farm melons and pumpkins and in 1.9 you can make iron golems with the pumpkins.
Here is a seed I used to find 30+ pumpkins legit. Its "MY PILLOW IS A PS3" all caps. They are located on the top left of the map in the forest. It shouldnt be hard to find because there are 3 huge pumpkin patches. Here is a picture. I dont know if this is rare to have 10+ pumpkin patches, let me know. (also if you look in the back, there is another pumpkin patch)

Where did anyone say pumpkins don't spawn at all?
They spawn when the chunks are loaded. There is no way to get more than that right now because there are no seeds and they don't naturally respawn.

I didn't see anyone say that pumpkins can't spawn(though someone above did word their response weird).
