Will there be furture updates for minecraft on xbo360?

Yay!

i'm just wondering, are you thinking the update for the xbox will be before 2013? I know that you said you don't have an ETA, but I was just hoping it would be before then.

Let 4J work on getting us at least up til 1.9 Pre-release before we start nagging them for Skins and other goodies.

From what I understand Microsoft made them push their update back, but I can see an update before the end of the school year, ~Mid June.

I don't work for 4J don't take my time table as a definitive answer as to when/how/why they are going to update.

Am I the only one who isnt sure if I want it to be updated? I'm torn between "I want creative mode" and "I hate the hunger bar" Yeah I'm one of those nerds who thinks 1.7.3 was minecraft's peak, with the terrain generation and all. Don't get me wrong, I like jungle biomes, and I think endermen are kinda cool, and all that jazz, but i think a bulk of the updates after 1.7.3/1.8 were either trivial or took away from the game's original appeal.

I think there should be a pinned thread with all current and future updates with dates or ETA.

So uses can see and how far is being worked on, and help to keep the thread count down for asking what update be next.

Does anyone now when the update will be?

I would love to have current features of Minecraft PC (potions, breeding, enchanting, etc.), but with the "old school" feel it has now.
