I love PC Minecraft even though mine is **** and can't run it well. I would love for everything that is in PC today to be in XBOX Minecraft. And 4J already said they would work on the world size. Doesn't mean they would make it bigger. Just means they would make it work with all the updates and including the biomes but still being plentiful with them at the same time. It will all work out. Trust me. Just do it.

I like the version it is in right now. Old world gen ftw. Because of the adventure update there hasn't been any beaches or unique landscape. Every biome looks somewhat the same and every mountainous regions are fking huge.
I voted, but its not really a matter of what we do or don't want, since it seems the goal is to have the Xbox version be able to communicate with the PC version and vice versa.

true that, BUT I miss running,enchanting,xp & so on Id love to see this version mirror the PC version, with old world gen(maybe they could add some clay though) lol its alot to hope for but who knows what the future holds
I'd like to keep the old world gen, but I do like potions. I extremely enjoyed running a potion shop on SMP, and I can't wait to have something more to do in the xbox edition than just jump in my mob spawners and try and survive.

As much as I would like it to stop at 1.7, all the different editions of Minecraft need to be as similar to each other as possible for continuity sake. Not everyone is a Minecraft expert, and someone buying the 360 edition after coming from the PC is going to be in for a surprise.
Many of the more recent PC features would be good additions to the Xbox 360 version e.g:
Potions.
Enchanting.
Pistons.
But the limited world size means that some things just won't work in the Xbox 360 version:
Animals not repsawning. In the PC version, you can go somewhere else if they go extinct locally. The Xbox 360 version doesn't have "somewhere else".
and it also means that some features of the PC version need to be prioritized:
Zombies dropping iron and zombie pigmen dropping gold. Same reason as above. The Xbox 360 version doesn't yet have a solution for the problem of your world not having enough iron or gold to complete your megaproject.
and it also means that the Xbox 360 version will need some features that the PC version has never had, like a way to get more redstone when all of the deposits have been mined.
Perhaps the Xbox 360 version should diverge even further, and the problems of the world size limiting the resources could be solved the Terraria way by allowing the player's inventory to be used to import materials from other worlds.
Well, considering that it's doubtful 4J won't address the world size limit, I'd forget about all world restraints for now.
I'd really like Minecraft on Xbox to go all the way, and be the best game it can be, like the PC version of Minecraft. It's one of best ports I've ever played, and I want it to remain that way, with consistent updates and texture packs.

Ah yes. Got used to running and now it really sucks without it. As you said i'd like the new features with the old gen.
Personally, I would like them to go no further than 1.0.
EDIT: Also take into account in the next update to Xbox edition there will most likely be creative mode, even if it is Beta 1.7.3
