Lack of diamonds?

I cant find ANY diamonds. Ive played about 5-6 hours or so since yesterday, and i havve not found 1 diamond. On pc i had no problem finding them, but here i cant. Ive tried strip mining, cave exploring, and even tnt. Help?

Must be your seed? I explored a cave right next to my base, which is right next to the spawn. Came back up 26 within an hour of exploring.

What level were you mining at?

just have to be patient and use some mineing methods. there are roughly 16000 blocks of diamond in each seed

I've found them to be very common, just keep trying you'll find some eventually!

Yeah, Kioribug, found like 20 of them in a cave system in the south east quadrant of our map.
