Hey it's Golden_Cake, I just want to share with you and hopefully 4J steve some ideas and Improvments for Minecraft on Xbox. Feel free to post your ideas below.
Ideas:
-Have a seed exclusivly for Xbox that the map is shaped like the world, (asia, americas, europe, australia etc.)
-Downloadable content in the form of mods (I don't mind paying)
-An exclusive mob and block to the Xbox.
-Custom skins and textures packs, (that are free)
Improvments:
-There needs to be an F3 button.
-Controller maping
-Fixing all bugs/glitches/exploites
Thats all of my ideas and improvments I would implement into the game, but Im sure you guys would have more and better ideas.
Exclusives: I highly and I mean highly, doubt they will add anything exclusive to the Xbox version. Well, other than the crafting system that is.
Seeds: The Xbox version uses the same world generation that the PC version does, albeit in a different programming language, so all seeds are already there. They can't add a new one to my knowledge.
Mods: Again, I highly doubt mods will ever see the light of day on the Xbox version of Minecraft. This is Microsoft we're talking about. It's against there Terms of Service to mod their system or games.
F3: The Xbox is a console, not a computer. It has no need for a Debug screen. It would waste time and memory that can be used for something else.
Button Mapping: I'm pretty sure if they were going to do button mapping, they would have had it at launch.
Bugs: They will fix bugs obviously. What are they going to do, just leave game ending and save erasing bugs in the game?
