Hi, so I was watching a video on the yogscast playing the Xbox version of Minecraft, but they mention a few times that they are using a laptop to play it. Now I'm wondering how on earth are they playing it on a computer. I own an Xbox and Minecraft for it, but it still makes me very curious.
Im doing this on my phone so that will be a bit difficult, but their YouTube channel name is bluexephos. The video won't be hard to find since its recent. The mention it at the beginning of the video and a few other times.
They're using a capture card which connects to the PC. It allows you to record the gameplay from your console, and broadcast it to the PC, so they can watch it in a little window, or fullscreen if the program they're using allows it. The laptop in no way was running the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, it was just receiving a video feed from the capture card.
Xbox 360 on computer?
