I was in the nether when my friend had to leave when i was afk so later when i joined his game on the same world i spawn in a red skied world with the floor being bedrock. I am stuck there we have tried everything help please.

if there is any way, you should try to die.

There might be a chance that if you die, you'll end up back at your spawn point (bed or where ever you first spawned)

If you can't die - has your friend tried going back into the Nether?
