I know I'm going to sound like a jerk. But it makes me feel a little better knowing I am not the only person this has happened to. And can somebody else tweet this for me? I don't have a twitter anymore.
Thanks for the sympathy. I'm just surprised the game still has tons of bugs. Were they not bothering to test it for the past 11 months?
Okay, I bet this is happening on certain models of consoles, post them.
It's not like 4J had access to the 20-30 different versions of the xbox360 since it came out, they didn't have extensive hardware to test it.

I had a similar problem. I had diamond armor, and a diamond pick and sword. I put a few hours of work into remodeling my house, and when I finally finished, I went to share a screenshot, and it crashed without saving.

I've learned to save before I take screenshots, because sometimes it will kick me to the main menu saying I was disconnected from the servers.
For everyone telling this guy to save, then do exit without saving, that doesn't always work either. I read that same advice prior to buying this game. Just a few minutes ago, I went to save in-game like suggested and the game froze while saving. As a result, my friend and I lost about 3 hrs or so of work.

I hope they fix this bug soon.
I didn't say it was fool-proof, but it does seem to help. Also, saving after playing for that long commonly causes freezes. It's best to save at least every hour, if not more.
The longer you wait between saves, the more the game needs to rewrite the changes to the game to overwrite the previous save file.

I understand. Just want to make sure people understand this method still has the potential to freeze.
