I want to give the xbox version a try, but I am not sure if it is worth it right now. If people could point out some of the annoyances or problems they have found so far, that would be great.
Please don't mention the limited world size unless you have something to add on the topic. I am aware of that already and don't really mind it.
I feel that the y sensitivity is not sensitive enough. (you can only adjust both at the same time). Other than that it is fine, some complain about the world size, (1000x1000) but it is fine for me. Great investment, especially if you plan to play with others

I have the "Bad Video Card Drivers" error on my laptop no matter what I do, so I had to play Total Miner: Forge, FortressCraft, CastleMiner, and CastleMiner Z to get my fix until this came out. Total Miner was my favorite and it only had a 256x256 map size so I for one will never complain about the 1024x1024 map size. I would like to see it grow, or maybe even become infinite, but until then I am happy.
The bugs are annoying sometimes, but other than that I love this game.
-Torches sometimes work
-Occasionally a chuck will be fully lit up in the distance although it's night time
-Can't attack a monster if they're partially behind a block
-Can lose save file at any moment
Sometimes placing water or lava from a bucket the liquid disappears, i dont like that theres an acheivment for riding a pig and you cant actually make a saddle, i also dont like that theres fences and no gates for the fences. Other than that im good.

I'm in the navy and don't play as much as I used to but I'm still a fan. Always scrolling... Watching... Mining...
I think the only bug that would have encouraged me to hold off my purchase until it was fixed is the "save game" bug. This bug manifests itself when the option to "Save and Exit" the game is selected. The game will, on occasion completely lock up, resulting in the save game either not being saved before the crash, or being corrupted (both of which are horrible). These are critical and the hope is that a fix will be forthcoming very very soon. Other than that, for me, the game is a lot of fun to play, especially with others. The split screen is neato, though limited to HD only. One word of warning though, for those interested in this game, practice the time-honored gaming tradition of "SNSO" (meaning "Save Now, Save Often). Probably once every 30 minutes or so would be plenty. The game DOES NOT autosave, contrary to the game's own statements to the contrary. The only thing that is autosaved is the leaderboard stats. Remember that, and you'll have a great time with it!
-Lag/Delays on Multiplayers
-Lacks a Hunger meter (Really annoying to fill hearts) and PC updates in general
-No server mods or mods (Anti-Greif, yes i have friends of friends who like to greif, it's annoying)
No gates for fences, no fence stacking, I lose server connection every time I save, squids can fly, my xbox freezes about 40% of the time when i quit and gold is probably more rare than diamond, ay least for me. I dont know how people complain about world size, when you actually get out and explore, its gigantic. My current existence consists of a box thats less than 200x200 and I'm comfortable.
I hate how the surface textures on the Xbox version do not glitch out like the pc and let me see all the underground tunnels around me, and I hate that I can see the other players locations on my map, and I especially hate that even though the Xbox doesn't come close to my dual core 3ghz processor/ 4gb ram pc, I can still play 4 player split screen on it and not my pc ;p
The only issue I'm having with it is the mobs spawning in my house in the middle of the day. Ive lost a lot of stuff due to creepers spawning in my house and blowing my storage containers while I'm trying to craft stuff. Really annoying had to turn it off several times due to it. Hope they fix it. Other then that having as much with it as I have been having on the Pc version.
Not really having any in game issues at all ive experienced no bugs whats so ever though a bit bummed how i cant splitscreen but i just play over live instead.

Aside from that, it's great.
