So i built my first house today and i noticed there was a lot of skeletons and zombies spawning inside my house even though it is lighted very well. I have put a torch EVERYWHERE possible and they still spawn.
My house has a sand floor and has wooden plank walls if that makes a difference. I started playing mine craft in beta 1.7 and i have never had this problem before. can anyone help me or does anyone have the same problem?
Haha thanks, by any chance do you know when they will update the lighting? I feel like i'm in pocket edition with lighting that only covers a 3 block radius.
It's a bug. Make sure that your bed isn't touching any walls, and replace the sand with wood or some other block that isn't "natural" terrain (dirt, gravel, sand). Also, it helps if you only have a SINGLE door. If you have double doors, it increases the chance of mobs spawning for some odd reason.
Replace all of the floor w/ half slabs except for one block (so that you can respawn from the bed) Make sure other things are still accessible (doors, etc.) This will help.
Not sure if your getting the same issue I am but they are spawning middle of the day only been woken at night once. Been annoying had creepers pop a couple of my storage containers while I was in the crafting screen.
