As of today, I've been unable to earn any achievements I've tried for. I already have many of the easier ones, and was missing a few simple ones like 'MOAR Tools,' 'Bake Bread,' and 'Delicious Fish.' For example, when I tried to get MOAR Tools, I made one pickaxe, one axe, one spade, and one hoe. I tried making them each out of wood, and stone. A few sets of tools later and I'm a little frustrated :\. It's not a big deal, but it bothers me that I can't earn any of these achievements.
I've tried starting a new world to get them, no success. Has anyone else encountered this problem or have a fix for it?
For the MOAR tools, you might want to try making them out of Steel if you haven't, just save before making that way if the achievement doesn't pop you can just exit without saving and reload.
For the Fish achievement, I know what you mean since on my first world I couldn't catch anything. I saw the fishing line go down and then I pulled it in but nothing. So I changed worlds, now I'm playing on Archespore and I caught a fish and cooked it, achievement popped right away. - So you might want to try that.
For the Baked Bread one, I don't know what to tell you besides asking "did you go to the crafting table?"

I've had the same problem, i was getting all the achievements, stopped playing for the night, next day made cake got that cheevo to pop, then i went to immediatly make bread and no achievement, ...so i made bread again, nothing, ....i saved and started the 'training' and fished and cooked the fish, no achievement,
i deleted my game, cleared my cache, redownloaded the entire game, tried again, no achievement,...
re-downloaded my profile (which i hated doing)_ still, no achievement...
the only thing i can factor in is i was playing with 3 other people on my console the other nite before this and they got the bread achievement and the fish achievement and i didn't try for those that nite, i am starting to wonder if i am not getting the achievement because they got it on my box ? .... i dunno what else to think, i wish it would get fixed though....
