Hello, just wondering if anyone is having the same issue I'm currently having..
I took water in a bucket so I could toss it near lava to make obsidian so I could get into the Nether..
However.. when I place the water down near lava it disappears, the "visuals" of the water disappears but not the actual source, I can pick it back up even though it looks like it's gone, but the most annoying part is that the water doesn't even flow, I've even tried placing it above, after a few blocks it just straight up disappears.
This has happened to me and my friends while mining and its really annoying when we go really deep (no homo) and there's lava in our way. I tried submitting it to the XBLA bug list already, it may not seem like a big deal but what happens when you find diamonds but theres lava in your way.

Well for one, you just put something over or in the lava to get around it. Also, it's already a well known bug and has been brought up dozens of times.

However, it is supposed to just disappear completely, not hang around and be a non flowing source block. That part is a glitch.
