Seriously, every cave I find goes down about two feet and stops. I've made two maps, and both have the same problem.

What's wrong?

I've only made a couple of worlds so far and there are awesome caves everywhere. I've found a few really huge ones all within a minute or so of my initial spawn point.
Just keep trying new worlds until you get one you are happy with.

For the first few maps, I couldn't find ANY caves. Just keep trying new worlds/seeds and you'll eventually find some if not loads, like me.
