My Xbox is hooked up to a component AV cable and a 720p HD TV. Will split screen work for me, or will it require an HDMI cable that I have no intention of using, as I have heard?
Also, if it does require an HDMI cable, will there be an update to allow component AV HD to work?
If you haven't bought it yet. try downloading the demo I don't know if you can split screen in it but its worth a shot.
Actually lemme go get the xbox cables from upstairs. I think they have the component/composite cable combo upstairs somewhere and I'll let you know.
Okay, so we don't have a set of Component cables in the house. Theoretically tho, since you are going to be playing on 720p I can just set my display to that and test it. I can't guarantee that it would work since I'm using an HDMI cable But i can try if you want

I don't have any specs on my video device, but i am planning on running it on our Built in video projector in our theater room. Do you think that will support split screen? Thanks in advance.

does it have the "blue, green and orange" inputs or an HDMI input? if so the answer is yes.
