Am I just the luckiest player right now, or does it seem like diamonds are everywhere. I just got this game, dug down to bedrock, then dug maybe 50 deep for a tunnel. So far, in 6 branches, I've found 25 diamonds!!! If you look at my blocks mined, I've mined 36 dirt, 1 cobble, 212 stone, and 7 gravel, yet I have 25 diamonds and only 6 gold ingots, 28 iron ingots, 37 redstone and 31 lapis. This. Is. Ridiculous.

Still pretty ridiculous. In like an hour I found 25 diamonds. That's just crazy talk.

Depends on the seed you are on.

I have found about 8 or 9 diamonds in the last three days. Still have many many caves to search though .

In total I have found 12 diamonds in 2 days. Lucky.

I have found...0 Diamonds... and i've dug down to Bedrock.....I'll try doing what you did and start digging and see if i find any.

Yea, but diamonds were always fairly scarce on the PC version. You certainly couldn't start a branch mine and find 25 diamonds in your first 6 branches lol. One of the clusters I found had EIGHT diamonds in it, haha. The most I've ever found at once on the PC was 4.

The server I play on uses the Glacier seed and I've only found about 3 or so diamonds the entire 2-3 days I've been playing on it.

If this is your first go at MC, youtube branch mining. It's the most efficient and effective way to mine.

I bought the game on Tuesday when it came out. On my first world I didn't find any diamonds before the save game was corrupted and I could not load it anymore.

Today I started a new one and I found 6. I'm having a difficult time finding iron ore this time and lava. I must not be digging in the right place. hahhaha.

I have plenty of stone. LOL.....

Nah, its not my first time playing but, usually by now i'd have found at least 1 cluster of diamonds on my way down. Did the branch mining ..and just found my first cluster so, w00t. thankfully there was no lava on this side..

I've found 9 in a cave system I was spelunking in for about an hour, perhaps I was lucky.

Im 11, Minecraft is to scary to mine much for me.......

I found 50 diamonds so far and 50 blocks of iron and 5 blocks of gold. 9 stacks of redsone... IM RICH

I've only found one in the Glacier seed from nolifing the Hell out of that game :c .
Even with Branch Mining :C
