Oh my god, why are people still posting here? this is so old and has been answered so many times. 4J studios said the first update(not bug fix) would be early July, but they dont have a specific date. Find a new topic, people...
This. The Xbox version will never fully catch up to the PC version unless they stop updating the game in the near future or slow it down to a complete crawl. With over a year gap in content, and the PC constantly belting out stuff within the span of 3 months per update, I don't expect this version to be up to snuff with the PC version. That said, I've been happy with the game, I certainly look forward to the adventure aspects being implemented, but right now I'm enjoying making building projects and exploring cave systems with my buddies online via voice chat. Soooo much easier to yell about a creeper

If only that were true, I could be lying on a beach somewhere sipping cocktails . Instead I am working on finishing off the 1.7.3 update. The 1.8.2 update is barely in it's infancy and nothing has started beyond that. We are working as hard as we can to get the updates out, but please be patient.

Yea there aren't even pistons and no endermen no stone bricks there are a hole bunch of stuff that's not on that version give us an updateBut let's give the people some slack they are working hard
One thing I dont understand is, why not just make the game at the PC level to begin with...
All these updates had been made / tweaked and worked out on PC before minecraft on xbox was even thought of, so why develop minecraft on Xbox as an early version of the game??? Why not just start off where PC was, lol...

Because they had to rewrite it as its in a different coding language for a start ?

is adventure mode and survival mode the same thing? my friends tell me they are 2 different game modes. on the computer there is survival, creative, and hardcore right? I don't know what the hell they are talking about
