Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows when the next update to Minecraft Xbox will be released, such as updating to 1.7 or however much they are going to update at a time. If anyone has any thoughts or info that would be great.

DAMN RIGHT WE WANT A NEW UPDATE. like cmon its baysically 1.1 sure its ok and everything but its to easy to do and not much you can do like i found at least 30 diamonds and ive been to the nether like cmon we need a new update and its not infinite sandbox mode yet theres a boundary to how far you can go once it gets updated quicker then thats when the good stuff seems to happen

Incorrect, I'm not even going to go into the grammar mistakes in that post.
4J have to start from basically scratch for their updates, yeah most of the coding is out of the way, however MCXBLA and the pc version are written in two different coding languages.
The only thing I'm really missing here is a lot of the simple fixes and items, like walking through sugar cane, enchanting tables, the hunger meter, etc.
I suppose eventually I'll hit a wall where I find a 1024x1024 map and lack of "Keeping up" with the PC version to be stifling and switch.

Actually, I can code in both java and C# easily because they are similar. A small team should be able to convert in a week tops. they got most of the coding out of the way now.
These updates need to get here pretty quickly. I've already made houses across my entire world, explored all the surface caverns, built farms, mined in straight lines from one side of the map to the other, etc. The world is just way too small.
And there's nothing to do, besides taking blocks from one area and putting them in another area. You can't make machines, because you don't have pistons. Can't play Adventure Mode. All you can do is move blocks around. Woot.
