Move your bed away from any walls it may be up against. I keep mine in the center of the room. Haven't had any monsters wake me up yet.
That doesn't work for me I figured out that if u put walls around your bed except for the front than they won't spawn.

I made my house 2 stories, put my bed in the top floor. Havent had a mob wake me up since. Also putting torches around your house and lighting your house helps. If you go to sleep and for some odd reason wake up with no mob next to you there is most likely a mob outside, go outside and kill it. Then you will be able to sleep. This is a version bug hopefully when MC360 gets updated their will be no more problems with sleeping in beds.
(It is lit up with torches)
