I started digging to see how deep I could get in a couple if hours, and was shocked that I hit bedrock in 10 minutes. It couldnt have been more than 100 blocks deep, which is shallow. This really bummed me out. Is it this shallow in the PC version?
And please don't say it's a console limitation because ALL of the other games of this genre all go 3-5x deeper. Total Miner itself goes 600 blocks deep.
I'm hoping that this was just a shallow area because I love to dig deep, huge caverns. Other than this, this is my favorite game by far. It's so damn addicting and I don't even know everything it can do yet!

Total Miner goes 2500 blocks deep. Plus, on topic, minecraft for xbox isn't even 100 blocks deep down. Its just like the computer, Its 64 blocks deep.

If you play on easy or higher. Listen for the sounds of mobs. Find a layer you think would be great for whatever resource you are gathering, and start mining. when you start hearing the sound of zombies or spiders or (if you are lucky) Slimes. dig a bit, listen to see if they are closer if not go back and try a different direction.

Just remember, those 2000 block deep maps on Total Miner are only 254x254 wide as well. A lot smaller in that dimension. The creative maps for Total Miner that expand out to about.. 956x956 I think it is, are 128-150 blocks deep if I remember.
